Application procedure for the Asia Tsukuba Regional Contest
- Teams from the countries other than Japan

- Qualification: Teams in the Asia superregion which conform to the basic eligibility rules defined by the ACM-ICPC Regional Rules can apply for participation to the ACM-ICPC 2016 Asia Tsukuba Regional Contest.
- Step 1: Register your team through the ACM-ICPC Baylor site. (Use “Regional Finder” and find Asia Pacific & Indochina Peninsula/Asia Tsukuba 2016.)
The deadline for the registration is August 26th (Friday) in Japan time.
- Step 2 (optional but encouraged): The coach of the team is encouraged to send an email to the Organizing Committee (icpc2016@cs.tsukuba.ac.jp) which contains the following information:
- Team name, Institution
- Any other information about your team (e.g., the result of the latest preliminary contest the team has particpated in), or requests to the Organizing Committee, if any.
- Step 3: The organizing committee will select the teams to compete in the contest, based on the diversity of countries and institutions, and other conditions. The result of the selection (accept/reject) is notified by email, no later than August 30th. If you need to know the result earlier, write your schedule in the email of Step 2.
- The participation fee is free. If you cancel the participation, immediately notify it to the Organizing Committee.
- Teams from Japan

- Qualification: Teams in Japan must participate in the Japan National Online Contest held on June 24th, 2016, and should be selected by the Organizing Committee. The contestants of the team must be exactly the same as those competed in the Online Contest. (No substitute is possible.)
- All the teams should have already received a detailed email from the Organizing Committee. You only have to follow the procedure described in the email.
- If the qualified team does not attend the Asia Tsukuba Regional contest for some reason, the coach should notify it to the Organizing Committee.
- The coach is expected to attend the contest, though the attendance of the coach is not mandatory. The coach may be substituted for another person if the substitute conforms to the ACM-ICPC Regional Rules. In this case, notify the change of the coach to the Organizing Committee.
